Hey, you're a real baddie.... Did you know that your 'winged skull' owes a
lot to the Sumerian/Egyptian/Unity Church symbol of the Winged Globe (Aten) which represents
the One God who came to earth hundreds of thousands of years ago (from another planet,
according to the Sumerians). Betcha didn't know you had something in common with something
good and pure.... best wishes !

Thank you, but from what source do you take this?

What is so pure as the desire (Liber AL, III, 51)?:
With my Hawk's head I peck at the eyes of Jesus as he hangs upon the cross.
Furthermore, see more on the winged splendour:
AL I
14. Above, the gemmed azure is The naked splendour of Nuit; She bends in
ecstasy to kiss The secret ardours of Hadit. The wingèd globe, the starry blue, Are mine,
O Ankh-af-na-khonsu!
16. For he is ever a sun, and she a moon. But to him is the winged secret
flame, and to her the stooping starlight.
61. But to love me is better than all things: if under the night-stars in
the desert thou presently burnest mine incense before me, invoking me with a pure heart,
and the Serpent flame therein, thou shalt come a little to lie in my bosom. For one kiss
wilt thou then be willing to give all; but whoso gives one particle of dust shall lose all
in that hour. Ye shall gather goods and store of women and spices; ye shall wear rich
jewels; ye shall exceed the nations of the earth in splendour & pride; but always in the
love of me, and so shall ye come to my joy. I charge you earnestly to come before me in a
single robe, and covered with a rich headdress. I love you! I yearn to you! Pale or purple,
veiled or voluptuous, I who am all pleasure and purple, and drunkenness of the innermost
sense, desire you. Put on the wings, and arouse the coiled splendour within you: come unto
me!
AL II
38. ...Show thy star-splendour, O Nuit! Bid me within thine House to
dwell, O wingèd snake of light, Hadit! Abide with me, Ra-Hoor-Khuit!
Hail Satan!
Love & kisses,
Meph Istopheles

You're a riot... I don't understand why everyone wants to worship the
fictional works of Crowley, but go for it.....
The interpretation comes from Zecharia Sitchin's book "The Twelfth
Planet". I don't think you'll be too interested in it, though, cause it has an awful lot
of biblical proof in it, and I know that would put a kink into your Saturday nights.....
If desire was so pure (and I am NOT saying it is a bad thing), then
how come it can be quenched? Why wouldn't it remain no matter what actions we take? That
which stays, I think, would be pure. Desire is a blast, but everything in it's place. The
power we have is that which links us to the eternal, and my personal intuition is it
doesn't have a lot to do with desire.... perhaps more with pleasure ??? (which does not
have to have a link to desire, I think)
Anyway, have fun....Peace.

Thanks. Entertainment's one of the few things worth while in this human existence.

Try it sometime.

I find it interesting (read: Typical) you refer to all AC's works as fiction, yet
refer to Sitchin's work as "proof". Perhaps you ought to put a little kink into your Saturday nights
& read AC's _The Law is for All_...but that would be a bit beyond the average xian, now wouldn't it?
Hail Satan!
